Today I’m thankful for cool temperatures (for Florida) and a walk on the beach. It isn’t often that the Atlantic is churned up along our coast, so it’s always a pleasure to see. That said, I’m praying for those who will be affected by the storm in the coming days. 
Spoke to Dad, and Mom is no better. Earlier today, I read a Hospice booklet about preparing for the dying process. Not excatly cheerful reading, but in a strange way, it gave me peace. I don’t know how much time Mom has, but I accept God’s timing.
