Today I’m thankful that Dad and I finally got to see a movie together. We’ve been planning it for weeks, but it didn’t work out until today. We saw Lincoln, which was excellent. I hope History teachers all across the country plan field trips for their students. 
I’m also thankful that my son was able to visit this week. He leaves in the morning, but I’ll see him again at Christmas.
