I read this book about a month ago, and if I hadn’t had dozens of other things on my plate, would have read it a second time.
The Weddind Dress is a lovely and well-written book. I’m not much of a historical fiction reader, but I loved the back and forth of this book. The characters captured me from the opening chapters. I did find a bit of over-description in places, but I’m a minimalist where such things are concerned, and it wasn’t enough to distract me from the great story Rachel Hauck brought to life.
This is the first of Rachel’s books I’ve read, but it won’t be the last.
