Year of thanks: day 334 — I’m thankful that my sister, Caroline, and her boyfriend, Steve, drove up from Tampa last night, and were able to be here for Mom’s last rites. 
I’m also thankful for the outpouring of live I’ve received from my facebook family–some I see often, some occasionally, while I’ve never met many face-to-face. I’m blessed to have such an eclectic group of friends. Hospice has been wonderful. They arranged to have someone sit with Mom today so that she was never alone. I’m not sure how much time Mom has left, but I’m thankful for every minute I’m able to spend with her.
