Today I’m thankful for a quiet day. Got some writing done, including a new blog post. Things aren’t any better with Mom, but I have more peace than I’ve had in a while. I also heard from one of my beta readers (okay, she’s one of my best friends) who is halfway through the book. She texted me to say that it was the best story she’s ever read. Did I mention she’s one of my best friend? Lol! I do trust her instincts, however. She believed in me long before I believed in myself. She actually wrote me a check years before “Broken Vessels” was published because she wanted to buy my first book. I cashed the check, but kept $1.00 as proof of my first sale. Thank you, Pam, for your love, support, and encouragement.
