Should I be surprised that today was an interesting day? No, I shouldn’t–not when my God is in control.
After a nice visit with Mom and Dad, I came home to fix lunch. I spread my lettuce and topped it with a lovely chicken salad. Took my meal to the den, along with my Sonic beverage of choice. After two sips, I accidentally knocked the cup to the carpet. The bottom blew out, and well, you can picture the rest. In order not to drip all the way to the kitchen, I grabbed my salad plate. So, I not only lost my drink, I also lost my salad. lol! There are days that would have bothered me, but I chose to let it go and settled for cheese and crackers. 
After “lunch” I finished a guest blog post, critiqued two stories and got some writing done. My husband created business cards for me and a cover photo for my newest WIP (not a final cover, but one for my beta readers). All in all, a very productive day. Thank you, Lord, for making your presence know to me today and every day.
