Wow, today has been quite a day for me. It’s my daughter’s birthday, and that alone is enough to be thankful for, but there’s more.
I had an interesting visit with my parents. Mom is becoming harder and harder to understand, but when a lady from their church came to give Dad communion, they recited the Lord’s prayer. I recited along with them while looking in Mom’s eyes. Halfway through the prayer, she nodded and I nearly lost it. 
Once home, I was able to finish round two of story edits on my latest WIP, and am ready to have others read the completed manuscript. To top off my day, a guest blog post I wrote a month ago came out this afternoon (at least that’s when I found out about it). I give God all the praise.
