Today has been a day of ups and downs. I woke to two new Amazon reviews (5 star) and one Barns and Noble review (5 star). One reviewer compared my writing to Lori Wick’s. Wow! I am definitely humbled.
After that, a visit with Mom and Dad. Dad was in good spirits, but Mom had a very difficult time communicating. She tried, but I don’t think I understood more than three words. Broke my heart. 
After that, a wonderful lunch with one of my best friends. This afternoon, I started work on two new books, while setting aside (temporarily) the next one I hope to have published. Just called Dad, and Mom wasn’t much better than she was this morning. 🙁 Then a check of Goodreads to find more positive reviews. Like I said, up and down. Thank you, Lord, that you’re with me through the good and not so good.
