Today (a day behind) I’m thankful for a sentimental visit with my mother. She laughed, cried, and asked questions that were tough to answer — well, tough for her to understand. We did have fun feeding the ducks and ducklings in the courtyard. Dad sent me to see her while he stood back. The first thing she asked was, “Where is that man?” She doesn’t know his name and she doesn’t know he’s her husband, but she knows he comes every day and she looks forward to seeing him. 🙂
