Today’s visit with Mom and Dad was another difficult one. I was only able to detect one or two words Mom spoke. I’m thankful for the wonderful nursing home nurses and CNA’s who take care of her, and for Hospice Care. Without these people, Dad would be stressed beyond belief. 
I’m also thankful for my wonderful friend and author L.K. Malone, author of Divided Loyalties and The Mirror of N’de. Her critiques of my work blow me away. They can be hard to read at times, but her honesty and advice only serve to improve my writing.
