Today I’m thankful for a much better visit with Mom. Her antibiotics won’t start until tomorrow, but the meds they’ve given her to ease the pain and discomfort seem to have kicked in. She slept during most of our visit, but I much prefer that to the discomfort she exhibited yesterday.
I had a nice lunch with my daughter, Jamie, today, then realized I’d left my umbrella in the cart I used at Hobby Lobby. After lunch, I went back to the store, and my umbrella was right where I’d left it. Thank you, Lord, for the little things and the big things.
