I’m thankful for a nice visit with Mom and Dad this morning. My daughter Jamie came with me, which always makes it even nicer. Mom spent time laughing at a picture book filled with photos of babies. (She wanted to know if they were mine. lol) Then, we went to feed the ducks. I gave Mom some popcorn so that she could toss it to the birds, which she seemed to enjoy.
After that, I spent several hours with my teacher friends. Had lunch with them, and a really nice visit. Some grocery shopping after that, then I came home and made the best shepherds pie I’ve made in a long time. To top off my day, the ladies who have critiqued the final chapter of “The Rose Ring” love it. The guys not so much. But guys aren’t exactly my target audience. lol!
