Today was one of the roughest I’ve had with Mom since we placed her in the nursing home (though I don’t think they’re called nursing homes these days). I’m praying for a better tomorrow for her–and for Dad. Still, I’m thankful for today’s visit. I know the time will come when one, then both of them will no longer be here. I encouraged my father to take some much needed time just for him, and he actually liked the idea. Now we just have to see that he follows through. 🙂 I’m also thankful for a bit of rain, a bit of shopping, and a bit of writing.
