Today I’m thankful for a wonderful friend, who hooked me up with a painter. Phil has painted the exterior of our house–twice–without charging us a penny. Today, his employee worked for 12 hours, painting a bedroom and living room. He had to cover paneling and dark trim — not an easy job. The job will be finished tomorrow, which amazes me. If I’d done the work, it would have taken me a week (or more).
On a separate note, today I am 1/3 of the way into my Year of Thanks. God is good!
