Day 333

Today has been an emotional one. While getting ready for church, I received a call from my father, telling me Mom wasn’t doing well. Rick, Jamie and I skipped church and spent several hours with my folks,waiting for the Hospice nurse to show up. She confirmed that Mom was in the dying process, and not expected to live much past tomorrow. I’m thankful that Mom has lived 89 years when she should have died when she was 57. The next week will prove to be a challenge, but God has my back and my family and I will be stronger for the experience.
