Today started out a little on the rough side. I’m sure I’m not the only one. 
Thankfully things got better as the day progressed. Had a nice visit with Mom and Dad, and managed to get some shopping done. 
I have four bags of school supplies ready to be donated to my church. While I was finishing my shopping, I realized that this was the first year in a long time that I didn’t need to buy a planner. Retirement hit home–in a good way. Mostly, I’m thankful for finishing the book I’ve been working on for at last three years. Edits are still required, but I feel accomplished.
