Day 164

Saw my mother today. She was quiet, but relatively lucid. It’s always a mixed blessing when I understand her because she’s able to tell me she doesn’t like her situation. I am happy that my son was with me and that she smiled when she saw him. Happy or sad, I’m grateful that Mom is still with us.
